November 2018

It was a wonderful November. The cooling of weather, couple of birthdays, school fun, the start of basketball, and Thanksgiving. We have had much to be thankful about!
We celebrated Kyle's 42nd birthday!
Piper was excited to use her new winter coat in the new fallen snow.
Bryndel is learning to read AND write :)
Hadley had a trampoline park birthday party with 4 new friends from middle school.

A coffee date with Hadley's birthday buddy, Cyndy.
Grandma came for Hadley's birthday, and Piper & Bryndel's Thanksgiving feast at school.

Bryndel lost her first front tooth! Just in time to get the flu for Thanksgiving, rats!! She got better quickly, and she & I joined the rest of the crew for Black Friday shopping in Duluth.

Much to Kyle's delight, both Hadley & Piper dropped a doe in its track while hunting up north.
And then, they were lucky enough to be with Ava when she got one too!
Now, we begin to prepare for the glorious celebration of Jesus's birth!

Happy Hadley is 12!!

Our sweet, and ALWAYS happy Hadley is 12 today!! She got a little hunting in with her dad, brunch with a whole crew of Andersons, and dessert with Grandma. It was a great day to turn 12!

October 2018

I'm in awe every time summer fades into fall. What a beautiful way that God chose to transition the season!
Hadley finished out her CC season with a great cheering section,
And in style!! As she rounded the last bend and into the home stretch she lost her shoe in the mud! Instead of panicking or stopping to put it back on, she grabbed it and sprinted down the chute smiling the whole way :) Spectators up & down the finish line were cheering for the one shoe girl, hehe.

We spent a weekend in the Dells, as Kyle had a seminar.

We spent my birthday in MN celebrating with family.

Getting good cousin & Grammie time.

Piper and I got a special day together while joining her class on a field trip.

Hadley helped me prepare our first weekend of communion at our church. Along with a team of about 30 people, we were blessed to serve over 2000 people.
These two buddies had a couple of days off together, and enjoyed climbing at Edinborough.
Kennedy came for a visit!
And, Auntie Bev!
What a fine EC crew we have :)

Unbeknownst to her, Piper dressed just like her teacher for Halloween!
A big middle school kid now, Hadley helped her little sisters trick or treat this year, and they happily shared their candy.
And this morning, on Kyle's 42nd birthday, Piper got to participate in the 4th grade All Saints Day mass as Saint Elizabeth of Hungary.

September 2018

September went by quickly with everyone acclimating to school! It was full of wonderful firsts, hard work, and a lot of smiles :)
Bryndel is doing beautifully in Kindergarten! Apparently, you can break an arm if you have your big sister limbo under your leg.
Piper has been trying out her ninja line while doing homework, practicing piano, and not limboing under legs!
Hadley adores middle school!! She was elected to student council, joined CC & math club, and was chosen as one of the most kind kids in her grade during this first month. It's like she has been waiting for this her whole life :)
We celebrated Dad being in heaven for two years on 09/10/18.
The Vikings & Packers TIED!?!
Piper & Bryndel spent their day off at Como Zoo with Grandma and the animals :).

Hadley has had Paige, Brooke, Luke, and Grandma cheer her on during CC races!
Some bow hunting has already occured.

We've had wonderful visitors!

And Kyle & I have grown to love a few day dates now that everyone is in school! A hike followed by a good cup of coffee seems to be our favorite right now. Now it's time to sit back and watch God usher in the most beautiful month of them all! Happy October!

First Day of School 2018

Two days down, and this Kindergartner LOVES it! I think its evident in her twinkly smile :)
And the middle schooler attending a brand new school... LOVING it as well!! She even joined Cross Country today!
And our 4th grader is doing wonderfully already, as usual :) She's been extra good to Bryndel showing her the ropes at their school.

As for me, it's been a bit of a tough week. I am so very grateful to have been able to stay home with the girls for the past almost 12 years, but it has been bittersweet sending them all off this year. I am anxious to watch what God had planned for all 3 of them, and for myself this year!
