Cousins!

We spent a beautiful 'summery' September weekend in MN enjoying the outdoors.  We even hit the pool Friday evening for a sunset swim with Grandma & Grandpa!  Saturday morning we met up with Kenzie & Cy for some pumpkin patch fun...

Before heading over to Nathan & Heidi's house to spend the night there.  All 5 cousins had a blast running around together :)
The evening was topped off by a bonfire and s'mores!

Sunday was so bright & summery we just couldn't resist one last boat ride with Grandma & Grandpa!

What a perfect September weekend - thanks for having us, MN Grahams!

To the Rescue

After a long week without Kyle (all three girls got yucky colds over the week too!), Grandma & Grandpa came to the rescue!  We had a blast...
Grandma jumped right in and drove the coaster car with Bryndel, while Grandpa played some serious ball with Piper.

Hadley took Grandma on a nice bike/walk.
And Bryndel thought it was fun to wear her helmet too.  A couple times while Piper was playing ball, we were glad Bryndel had the helmet on!

We may have checked out the new Dunkin' Donuts in town Saturday morning!!

We spent the rest of Saturday outside enjoying the beautiful fall weather - first at a pumpkin patch...

And then at the land, checking out Grandpa's awesome new deer stand!!

Thanks for coming, Grandma & Grandpa -  You made our weekend!

Kyle had an adventurous but unsuccessful elk hunt.  He missed us so much, he surprised us by flying home a day early!  (Pictured with his good buddy, Randy, below.)

Dad-less

We have been Dad-less for almost a week now; w.h.e.w.  And while we've had a bit of girl fun (eating a few more treats, watching the Sound of Music, buying flowers, etc.) we are READY for him to return!!!

Bryndel will be quick to tell you, "Daddy bu-bye elk."  Kyle is on his first ever elk hunt out in Montana, and is apparently so deep in the mountains that he has no cell phone coverage, as we have not heard a peep from him.  But, we trust that he and his buddies are having a super fun & safe hunt, but... hurry home, Daddy, we miss you!

Not to worry, the calvary (aka Grandma & Grandpaare arriving very soon!

Danny's Wedding

We were blessed with the celebration of my cousin Danny's wedding last night -  It was a chilly, but beautiful day for he & his lovely bride Kaitlin to begin their life together. We were extra blessed with the presence of all 9 Graham cousins as well! Grandma & Grandpa with Bryndel, Cylas, and Heidi right before the outdoor wedding.

Anxiously awaiting the ceremony while happily chatting with Great Uncle Dave & Aunt Kristin, Great Uncle Chris & Aunt Patty, and Great Aunt Julie & Erica.

This was our view of the wedding - right between the groom's parents!  Pretty spectacular!
On to the party!  Piper & Hadley with their cousin buddy, Brooklyn :)
Hard to tell, but that's Had & Kenz, hehe.
My sweet buddy, Savannah.
Little turkey, Asher with his Mama.
Kenzie with her tall dates.

Brother of the groom, Katie with sweet Cece.
Bryndel & Waylon could have stared/smiled/poked one another all evening!

Look at these three beautiful sister-in-laws!  Kristin, (mother of the groom) Nancy, and Mom.

If they look like the cats who've gotten the canary... that's because they had.  Check out those amazing lollipops in their hands :)
Brother-in-laws keeping an eye on the kiddos while they fed goats (yes, this wedding had it ALL!).

Some pretty happy, sugared up, goat feeding cousin buddies!  ~ Savannah, Piper, Hadley, Cylas, Bryndel, Brooklyn, Kenzie, Jeremiah, and Audrey (just missing Asher, Cece, & Waylon)
What a beautiful & special day!  And...I am ever so thankful that despite the fact I dropped Danny while carrying him as a baby (gulp, I was 10ish when he was a baby), he turned out ridiculously good looking and has managed to find himself an amazing partner in life.  Congratulations, Danny & Kaitlin!

Music & Movement with Mom

Bryndel & I attended her first Music & Movement class this morning!  She even donned an (unnecessary, but cute) old backpack that Piper insisted she have for 'school' :) Big sisters are pretty cool.  I think it was strange for both Bryndel & I to be somewhere without those cool big sisters!  But, we had a great time, and I think Bryndel will be looking forward to next Monday's "Moo Moo" class!

Hikers

We headed out to do a little hiking this past weekend, in an effort to enjoy the gorgeous weather as well as keep our mind off of Kindergarten a little :) Not to worry, Piper had a great first week, but was definitely on the tired side - whew!

Packed a little picnic to enjoy midway through our hike.

First Day of School 2014

Much to Bryndel's disbelief, both of her big sisters headed off yesterday morning to embark on their first day of school.  And for Piper, her first full day of Kindergarten!  I'm not sure who was more sad with our quiet house yesterday, me or Bryndel?  But, we are happy to report both school girls had a blessed first day, and happily loaded up those backpacks again this morning :).  Praise God!
