November 2023

Kyle took ALL three girls out to Montana this past week for an adventure! They had quite the week of hunting! And while they had a bunch of fun together, it took until the final day for Piper to come through for her hunting party! She shot a small but very good looking mule deer buck, named Jerome 😄 They made it home safely, and had many good stories!

And I stayed back home to prepare our home for the Christmas season!  🎄 

October 2023

Another gorgeous fall out on our property! See if you can spot Kyle walking up our backyard hill in his camo 😄?

Bryndel got her braces this month!

Hadley finished her CC season strong with a 1 minute 45 second PR!!

Bryndel came off the concussion roster, and got to play one VB tournament!

Kyle has been happily grilling his elk every Sunday night!

I got a REALLY special long weekend down in FL woth my mom, Aunt Nancy, and Sister/Cousin Katie!!

While I was gone, God protected Hadley when a deer hit her driving home. Car is totalled, but Hadley is fine!! Thank you, Jesus.

Bryndel went trick or treating for the very last time; bittersweet.

And now it's hunting season around here!

September 2023

The girls have had a great first month of the school year! We made sure to get one last weekend at the lake before school really got started.

Bryndel enjoyed her first VB game of the season, but has had to sit out due to a concussion in gym class. Piper has had a great tennis season as well! While Hadley has been really enjoying her first CC season.

Both high schoolers enjoyed a night of dancing with friends at Homecoming!

And Kyle had a successful bow hunt down in New Mexico! Whew, I was worried we wouldn't have enough meat for the winter, haha.

August 2023

It was a hot August! Sad to see summer come to an end, but all three girls are excited for the new school year! We got in a fun day up north with Kyle's family!

Kyle and I spent a weekend away celebrating our 22nd anniversary, while Auntie Kara loved on the girls!

We got in another lake weekend with the cousins, and especially enjoyed jumping off the boat 😂

Bryndel spent a lot of time in the sprinkler. 

Piper's tennis season is off to a good start!

And Hadley had a great first CC meet!

Bryndel is 11

We had so much fun on Bryndel's 11th birthday that I forgot to post! Happy birthday sweet girl! We cannot wait to see what God has in store for you in your last year of elementary school!

Piper is 15!!

Happy 15th birthday, sweet Piper! We cannot wait to see what God has in store for you in high school!! We sure love your competitive spirit, encouraging words, and contagious laugh. You are a blessing to our family❤️

July 2023

July was a fun filled month! We began by celebrating the 4th with a couple of Bryndel's friends and their families.

We headed down to visit Grandma & Oma while Piper went to a tennis camp near Grandma's house.

We hosted a big group of Andersons while Kurt & Anne were in town, and the girls got their sweet fill of the youngest Andersons!

We ventured out on our first college tour for Hadley!! We drove 7.5 hours down to Truman State University in Missouri. It was an amazing campus, and a bittersweet weekend. Cannot wait to see what God has planned for our Hadley!

Hadley finished out the month at FCA Leadership Camp.

While the rest of us attended OneFest Christian Music Festival (Bryndel with her friend Kari). Now, we are on to the best month of summer ☀️ 

Family Vacation 2023

We spent a beautiful week exploring Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks! 

YELLOWSTONE

Old Faithful did not disappoint! Mountain air sure is brisk early in the morning though!

Because of the cool temperatures, the Midwest Geyser Basin (aka the Grand Prismatic) was a bit steamy to say the least. 

We all thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. If you asked the girls, they would probably say the plentiful bison or the mama grizzly and her two cubs were their favorite though!

JACKSON HOLE

We enjoyed staying right at the base of the Grand Tetons, in Jackson, Wyoming. We shopped, ate dinner out, and had plenty of ice cream. We also drove over the very steep Teton Pass into Idaho, and took a tour of the Jackson National Fish Hatchery.

TREETOP ADVENTURE

We spent an afternoon going through a pretty intense mountaintop ropes course & zipline! When we finished, Bryndel told me, "I mean, I like looking at pretty things, but this is my favorite part of vacation!"

GRAND TETONS

We went in and out of this beautiful park all week long. The mountain view was incredible.

We spent our last day at Jenny Lake doing the incredible Inspiration Point and Cascade Canyons hike. It was the perfect way to end our vacation.
