Magic Kingdom

On October 21, 2015 ~

We ferried our way into the happiest place on earth this morning.

We ran up Main Street with the hopes we could join the Seven Dwarfs on their Mine Train.  Was it ever worth it!

We headed onto the steamy Jungle Cruise.
Before finally cooling off with Brer Rabbit on Splash Mountain! This ride did not disappoint my inner child; it was as happy, and as funny, and as thrilling as I had remembered.  And I could hard believe I was on it with my mom & dad AND Kyle & the girls.  What a blessing.
We finished our morning with a picnic together in Liberty Square before heading home for a little rest time.

We grilled out together back home, before returning around sunset.  Darkness once again added a little extra magic.
We laughed our way through Buzz's Space Ranger spin, cruised through Tomorrowland on the Transit Authority, and may have been convinced to have our SECOND helping of ice creamGrandpa was buying :). He was, of course, abstaining from any kind of sugar, but did take a lick from Bryndel's giant cone. On our way home that night, he commented on how good that one lick tasted, and Bryndel piped up from her carseat that it was actually TWO licks for the day, as he'd apparently had a lick of her first ice cream cone of the day as well.  We all had a good laugh.
We fast passed our way onto It's a Small World, and remembered that this was Grammie Barb's favorite ride.

We dared to endure another 3D movie with the girls at Mickey's Philharmonic.  For some reason, all three of them were pretty alarmed by 'things' flying at them. Grandpa was more than happy to lend his shoulder to snuggle during the movie, and told us later that it was likely the best part of his day :)

We got lucky and saw the fireworks show right from the monorail on our way out. We carried three very sleepy little girls into bed that night, but we all had sweet dreams of castles, and fireworks, and togetherness.
