April 2019

April brought all kinds of fun as we welcomed spring!

We got to celebrate with Paige at her baby shower! Baby W is due to arrive in early June!

Got some love from Uncle Frank.

Had a quick girl day with Graham women!
Began the VB season. Piper is middle front row.

Hadley is also the middle front row, the tall one!
At 12, Hadley officially grew taller than her mom this month. Oh my!
We were blessed to help prepare communion for the Good Friday services.
And then got to see Oma & Opa!
It was thee perfect weather for a weekend at the lake too, sunny & 75!
We got to spend Easter Sunday with Grandpa Jerry, Grandma Joan & a whole crew of Grahams!

The girls got to come with us this year to the annual downtown Jazz Fest.
Bryndel is our very own toothless wonder :)

And Grandma came to watch SB, VB, be the Kindergarten Mystery Reader, and celebrate an early Mother's day with me!

March 2019

March brought more snow, but it also brought warmer sunshine and even a bit if snow melting rain. We had a great visit from Grandma A & Auntie Kara.
Piper's Battle of the Books team, the Book Worms, won!!
Spring break week we took in a few coffee & lunch dates, a snow covered park, and a lot of just playing outside.

We finished the break with a special weekend at Nathan & Heidi's home.
It was great weekend for everyone :)

20 Years Ago Today

Twenty years ago today, 04/05/99, Kyle took me on our first date!! Where, oh where has the time gone? But here we are, 20 years later, still so incredibly blessed by this God given relationship. I cannot imagine my life any other way than beginning and ending each day with Kyle.

Oh my word, we were so young!

February 2019

February was a record breaking month of snow, as well as the consequential snow days! In our area, the previous snowfall record was 28 inches in a single month; we had 54 inches in the short month of February!! Right before January turned into February, we had our first snow/cold days, which have spiraled into TEN snow days and three late start days! Needless to say, we had some good together time, both out in the snow and in the confines of our own home.
Piper got 3rd in the school spelling bee!
Then it snowed, we shoveled some more, more snow days were had.
We cheered Hadley on in her last BB tourney of the season.
Then it snowed some more, another snow day, more snuggling in front of the fire.

More snow, sledding this time!
We cheered Piper on during her last BB tourney of the season. She was the lead scorer on her team.
It snowed some more, we made snowmen this time, while Kyle broke down the ice dams on the roof.
They made indoor & outdoor forts on yet another snow day.

We ran out of room room to pile it!! And, believe or not we ran out of excitement for snow days. Who would have thought, Haha Haha!
March is finally here. Please God send us spring!!!

January 2019

January weather was odd to say the least, but that didn't deter us from cramming in lots of fun activities!
Piper's BB season is off to a great start; she has an awesome coach (her dad!), and has been the lead scorer for her team.

Hadley's BB season is also off to a good start! She is thee happiest and kindest teammate out there, and is one of her team's best rebounders.
Cousin Kennedy, Auntie Kim, Grandma A, Auntie Kara (& cousin Brooke) came to cheer them both on during a weekend tournament.
Piper & Bryndel had a day off at the end of the semester, and spent it bouncing at the trampoline park :)
Hadley's end of the semester was spent shopping with Grandma at the MOA!
We snuck in a little sledding, before the 'polar vortex' took over and cancelled school for 4 days in a row!!!!

Much time was spent playing in front of the fireplace over those 4 days.
Thankfully, Grandma and a car full of crafts showed up midweek, and we had awesome 'crafternoons' after that!
