Family Vacation 2014

We were blessed with a week at Grandma & Grandpa's beautiful lake home for our family vacation again this summer.  And it was wonderful, to say the least!  Highlights included:

Pool Time ~ Diving for money (thanks to Grandpa), eating Dilly Bars in the pool (thanks to Grandma), playing 'Beavers' & 'Red Light Camouflage Light', and trying to sink Kyle any chance they got!

Boat Time ~ We cruised on over to the Lake's outdoor restaurant in Grandma & Grandpa's awesome pontoon just a 'few' times over the course of the week.  Tough to beat playing in the sand while you wait for your food (and I kinda liked the NOT cooking part!).

Lake Time ~  We took full advantage of being at the lake... swinging in the hammock, trying a little paddle-boarding, catching fish, playing/reading in the screened in porch, going for nature walks (and rescuing a baby bird), and eating smore's lakeside.

And most importantly, Family Time ~ The special week in which nothing but family exists.  The week that we start dreaming about in January.  The week that always seems to go by too quickly.  But the week that holds one hilarious and/or priceless memory after another.  Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for sharing your home with us, we LOVED it!!!
