Farmers

Hadley was in her glory this weekend, as we spent most of it on the farm with the Anderson crew.  While Piper & Bryndel certainly enjoy being with their cousins and aunties & uncles, they are not quite as 'obsessed' with farming as their big sister.  Hadley a.d.o.r.e.s. it all, and therefore thoroughly enjoyed her weekend! This was one of brand new twin calves born over the weekend. Hadley proudly informed me later, that its black hair was even soft to her lips when she kissed it.

Ava & Sydney were so sweet to include her in everything.

It was tricky to get Piper into the barn when the calves were free to roam; they were kind of like big dogs to her, and she was afraid they'd lick her :)  She admitted later, that seeing them was her favorite part!

Hadley wanted to make sure she paid the bulls a visit too, and Uncle Frank was kind enough to make that happen.












The girls got plenty of Auntie Kara time as well.  She even brought down her infamous scone ingredients and made them with the girls - What a treat!

Despite the rainy weekend the girls got lots of playing in with their cousins , and Kyle got in lots of good time out farming with his brother Kraig and nephew Hayden (I imagine most of it was spent chatting about hunting :). 

Bryndel enjoyed it all, but especially loved snuggling with Grandma A.
