Fun Week

It was a super fun and busy week around here! Piper had her first ever basketball practice, and I think her smile says it all! (Hadley also started practice again this past week.)

We celebrated Hadley's 9th birthday with a Harry Potter cake.

And then Grandma & Grandpa came for hunting weekend!

We got in lots of reading & crafting.

Hadley got her ears pierced for her birthday too!

Both Hadley & Piper (that's Piper walking in the orange) got to spend some special time with Grandpa in the deer stand as well. It was a great week and weekend!

Nine Years Old!

Our sweet and happy Hadley girl is NINE years old today!  Wow!  We are ever so blessed by her quick laugh, her happy attitude, and the creativity she brings to our family.  Happy Birthday, sweet Hadley!

Mid November?

Hard to believe it is the middle of November with this beautiful weather! We actually spent time at the beach today! No swimming of course, but lots of beach combing and picnicking. Yard clean up in the afternoon, followed by dinner outside by a bonfire. Blessed!

Halloween 2015

Halloween should be on the weekend every year!   

Hadley chose Hermoine Granger from the Harry Potter series.

Piper chose Olaf from Frozen.

And Bryndel, bless her heart, wanted to be the owl three years running!!!

And the Halloween weekend would not be complete without the buck hunter's birthday!  Happy 39, Kyle!

Apple Picking

I cannot remember very many 80 degree Ocober days? We certainly made the most of today, and spent a good portion of it at a quaint little scenic apple orchard. It was the perfect combination of delicious apples along with farm animals for Hadley to enjoy :).

Byndel was content to view the animals from Daddy's arms.

Behind the orchard was an incredible little hike that set us up where we could see for miles!

Finished by picking some bright red juicy apples of the Liberty McIntosh variety. What a beautiful  day to be a family.

Grandpa's 60th!

It was quite the birthday bash over the weekend!!  And, rightfully so when you are turning 60!  Nothing like starting the weekend out with a little swimming in October, ha! The air temperature was a balmy 55 degrees, but Grandma & Grandpa worked a little magic for the grandkids, and had the pool at 95 degrees :)

10 little buddies again

ALL of Mom & Dad's siblings, spouses, and parents were in attendance.  It was the perfect night!

The Burseth family drove all the way in from the Chicago area!

Bryndel and my cousin, Katie (who two days later, on Dad's real birthday, gave birth to her 4th child, a beautiful baby girl named Eleanor Mae!).
