Disney 2022

We finally made it to Disney World again! The girls have been anxious to go back ever since Grandma & Grandpa took us in 2015! No stroller this time, only speedy girls on a mission to see it all!

DAY ONE - ANIMAL KINGDOM

Almost all of us loved the new Flight of Passage Avatar ride (Piper was not super keen on virtual reality and how it made her feel.) We even heard the lion roar on our safari!

We all enjoyed the food and treats along the way!

DAY TWO - Epcot

We loved the Ratatouille ride, Test Track, and Soarin'. 

And sampled many delicious treats as we walked through the World Showcase.

DAY THREE - Magic Kingdom

We were so fast, we made BOTH rope drops at Magic Kingdom! And thoroughly enjoyed all of the coasters and Mountains!

The girls even braved Space Mountain, and loved it!

And had donuts the size of their heads 😂

DAY FOUR - Universal Studios 

We visited Diagon Alley today! Rode the Escape from Gringotts, drank butterbeer, cast spells, and even hopped on Platform 9 3/4 to head on over to Hogsmead.

Kyle and Hadley snuck off and discovered they both enjoy BIG roller coasters too😬😄

DAY FIVE - Universal Islands of Adventure 

We ran to Hagrid's Motorbike ride,and it was thee best ride of the trip! SO fun! Then, the rain came 😂 We made the most of it, but did head home earlier than usual.

DAY SIX - Hollywood Studios & Magic Kingdom 

The weather on our last day was absolutely perfect! We made it on the Star Wars ride, Slinky Dog Dash, and the Rockin' Roller coaster before we hopped to Epcot, and finished out with fireworks at Magic Kingdom. It was a great week!

We laughed a lot, walked at least 10 miles a day, shared a hotel room on-site where we could hear each other snore & talk in our sleep 😂, reminisced many times about our trip with Grandma & Grandpa back in 2015, and made the most of being together for a whole week! 

March 2022

We took our last opportunity to sled this month! SO special to walk out the back door, and just take off whenever we want!

And, Hadley got her driver's permit!! Here we go😄

February 2022

We got in a lot of sledding, show choir, volleyball, band, and basketball this month! Hadley has been loving show choir (red dress on the right side of the stage). She has also found time to squeeze in a travel volleyball team!

Piper finished her first MS basketball season with flourish! And had her first band concert (percussion) too.

Bryndel finished out her Y basketball season with a couple of buckets!

Lots of snow, and lots of helpers with the shoveling!

And we were even treated to a snow day, in which we took out the snowmobile in search of new sledding hills! 

While the snow has been fun, we are definitely anxious for spring!

January 2022

The new year is off to a good start! Lots of basketball for both Piper (MS ball) and Bryndel (Y ball), and show choir season for Hadley. We also said goodbye to Opa, as he left this earth for heaven earlier this month. Having been married to Oma for SEVENTY years, it was a wonderful celebration of his life.  We are grateful for the love he gave us, and look forward to hugging him again in heaven one day.

This is how Calvin & Hobbes have been staying warm with the subzero temps.

Despite the cold, we have been thoroughly enjoying some snowshoeing right out the back door!

December 2021

It has been so fun preparing for Christmas in our new home! It began with the adventure of finding the perfect tree on our property...

Then getting the 14+ foot tree in the house!

Hadley got to sing at a local tree lighting ceremony with her school choir!

Piper played some hoops, with Kyle as her coach!

And Bryndel got to play the drums in her class Christmas program!

The girls decorated a lot of cookies on a snow day, and then got some serious sledding in right out the back step!

We threw Kyle's office Christmas party at our house, then headed to the lake to celebrate the Graham Family Christmas with cousins!

Christmas Evev to church and then home together ❤️ 

We were joined by a crew of Andersons on Christmas day to complete our celebration of Jesus's birth. 

November 2021

We enjoyed November, but are anxious for the Christmas season now that December is here!

Hadley turned 15, and has begun her driver's training  classes!

Kyle and the girls spent a lot of time in the stand, and it was SO easy to just walk right out of our house! Bryndel even got her first deer - a perfectly shot doe!!

Kyle and I were treated to a Packer game in a friend's warm & cozy box!

And we have continued to be wowed by God's glorious sunrises (below),

and sunsets!
