Twenty years ago today, 04/05/99, Kyle took me on our first date!! Where, oh where has the time gone? But here we are, 20 years later, still so incredibly blessed by this God given relationship. I cannot imagine my life any other way than beginning and ending each day with Kyle.
Oh my word, we were so young!
HADLEY, PIPER, and BRYNDEL
Sisters, friends, blessed.

February 2019
February was a record breaking month of snow, as well as the consequential snow days! In our area, the previous snowfall record was 28 inches in a single month; we had 54 inches in the short month of February!! Right before January turned into February, we had our first snow/cold days, which have spiraled into TEN snow days and three late start days! Needless to say, we had some good together time, both out in the snow and in the confines of our own home.
Piper got 3rd in the school spelling bee!
Then it snowed, we shoveled some more, more snow days were had.
We cheered Hadley on in her last BB tourney of the season.
Then it snowed some more, another snow day, more snuggling in front of the fire.
More snow, sledding this time!
We cheered Piper on during her last BB tourney of the season. She was the lead scorer on her team.
It snowed some more, we made snowmen this time, while Kyle broke down the ice dams on the roof.
They made indoor & outdoor forts on yet another snow day.
We ran out of room room to pile it!! And, believe or not we ran out of excitement for snow days. Who would have thought, Haha Haha!
March is finally here. Please God send us spring!!!

January 2019
January weather was odd to say the least, but that didn't deter us from cramming in lots of fun activities!
Piper's BB season is off to a great start; she has an awesome coach (her dad!), and has been the lead scorer for her team.
Hadley's BB season is also off to a good start! She is thee happiest and kindest teammate out there, and is one of her team's best rebounders.
Cousin Kennedy, Auntie Kim, Grandma A, Auntie Kara (& cousin Brooke) came to cheer them both on during a weekend tournament.
Piper & Bryndel had a day off at the end of the semester, and spent it bouncing at the trampoline park :)
Hadley's end of the semester was spent shopping with Grandma at the MOA!
We snuck in a little sledding, before the 'polar vortex' took over and cancelled school for 4 days in a row!!!!
Much time was spent playing in front of the fireplace over those 4 days.
Thankfully, Grandma and a car full of crafts showed up midweek, and we had awesome 'crafternoons' after that!

December 2018
We had a wonderful December preparing for the birth of Jesus. Bryndel took me to the Angel breakfast.
Hadley & Piper took me Christmas shopping
And Kyle took me to Cancun for a little getaway.
It was dreamy to say the least! So good to be together, and refocus on what is truly important during the Christmas season.
The girls were well loved by Grandma, Brooke, Paige, Kim, Kara, and even Scott while we were gone :)
We returned in time to take in Bryndel & Piper's piano recital & school Christmas program.
We snuck in a little Christmas game time with Cyndy.
We got to be with Grandpa Jerry & Grandma Joan while in MN celebrating Christ's birth.
And Oma & Opa as well! It was great to all be together :)
We spent Christmas Eve together at home. Hadley got to be a shepard in our church's live nativity.
We had a wonderful Christmas day at home!
Tried out the new bikes (from Grandma) & scooter since there wasn't much snow to get in the way. Grandma made it in time for dinner and games that evening.
Annual sister sleepover.
We checked out the progress of Kim & Scott's new home, and took in the new Mary Poppins together.
What we lacked in snow, Poplar had in spades!! The girls had a wonderful time sledding.
We enjoyed good food and lots of laughter with the Anderson crew, and the girls got well acquainted with Grandma A's new cat, Poppy.
Happy 2019!
