We had a great August! Complete with birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, and lots of fun activities to wind down summer.

Grandma came to take us school shoe shopping!

Hadley (2nd from the left) got to help lead family weekend at church!

Piper celebrated her 11th birthday by playing golf.

Our family vacation to Mille Lacs ended at Grandma's house for some cousin time!

We also got to celebrate Lindsay with a baby shower!

Bryndel celebrated her 7th birthday with a little party and three of her school friends.

We took in an outdoor movie.

And biked 12 miles in the beautiful end of August weather. Now, it's time to get ready for the new school year!

Mille Lacs 2019

We spent a beautiful week vacationing up on Mille Lacs Lake as a family. The week was full of sunshine, fresh air, family conversations & laughter. As always, it was the perfect way to wrap up the summer before school begins again. We actually stayed at this very same timeshare resort 8 years ago, when Piper had just turned 3 and Hadley was 4.75. It was special to be able to compare vacations, and see how much our family has grown! We did plenty of:

What a blessed week, and a blessed family! We also celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary while on vacation!

July 2019

July was a hot one, but full of fun! Sprinklers down the slide.

Plenty  of ice cream.

A 4th of July gathering at our house,

with JORDIE, no less!!

Followed by the annual Graham Family vacation, where we got to meet Mike's sweet fiancee, Beth!!

Lots of good cousin time,

and Grammie time :)

Aunt Bev came for a great visit.

We picked (and ate!) a lot of black cap berries at the land.

Spent a 90 degree day lounging at Lake Wazee,

and finished with waffle cones.

When the temperatures danced in the 90s for the better part of a week, they jumped in the sprinklers and threw water balloons at each other.

They became proud nurturers of 3 monarch caterpillars.

We picked 23# of blueberries in about an hour!

Had more ice cream, this time with Cyndy.

Spent some serious time in the car shuttling between camps & activities.

And took in a local ball game. It was an awesome month!

And, to top it all off, I got a job!! I am excited and honored to be the new Resource Center Coordinator at our church! Essentially, I get to read, research, and stock helpful books in our church library/book store. I have been loving it, and feel so blessed to be there.
