Christmas at Home

While it was very chilly outside, we spent a warm and cheery Christmas right at home. 

We also got Grandma on Christmas day!! We shared hugs, laughter, Grandpa stories, and love. It was a very merry Christmas.

Anderson Christmas

We spent the Eve of the Eve with the Anderson family up north. It was such a nice weekend celebrating Christmas together!

We took in a movie together, in the fancy dream loungers!

Did some serious Christmas crafting.

Played games.

Got some fresh air.

And even got to play with little Aria :) Merry Christmas, Andersons!

Bryndel's Christmas Party Program

Kyle, Grandma and I were treated to a beautiful telling of the greatest story ever told at Bryndel's preschool Christmas program this week!

We were treated to a little time and love from Aunt Bev last week. We love when she comes to visit!

With family in town now, we had a wonderful gathering with Paige & Luke as well!

Hoops

Hadley's basketball season is already underway. She's playing for the Altoona team this year, in preparation for a transfer  to the public school next fall. So far, it has proven to be a great move. Last weekend, she had her second tournament. While they did not win, they definitely showed improvement and Hadley loved playing.

Belated Birthday Party

With Hadley's Birthday so close to both Thanksgiving and hunting season, her party is often pushed around a little to accommodate. She invited her two best friends, and her two best sisters, for an evening of singing, piano playing, hide & seek, pizza and cake, and lots of laughter. 

Thanksgiving 2017

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving up north with the Anderson family, enjoying delicious food, hunting stories, and laughter. And while we were missing special people at the table, they were never far from our hearts.

And thanks to Governor Walker, Piper was able to go hunting at the ripe age of 9.

I'm not sure who was more excited! She made a perfect shot at a 110 yards and dropped the doe in her tracks. Guess we have another hunter in the family!

We finished the weekend by celebrating Grandpa A's first year in heaven by eating his favorite dessert, pineapple upside down cake.

Hadley is 11!
