15 Year Celebration

I was blessed with the gift of uninterrupted time with my college roommates this past weekend!  It has been nearly 15 years since we graduated  from UMD, in May of 2000, and took a celebratory trip to Colorado. This time we met up near the ocean and thoroughly made the best of four days reminiscing, laughing, celebrating, crying, jumping for joy, and sharing our lives with one another. Special does not even begin to describe it. It was a gift, and I am SO thankful each of these busy and successful and amazing women took the time for this trip! It was a hoot!!! 

Our First Snowshoeing Adventure

In an effort to get out and enjoy our land even in a Wisconsin winter, we strapped on our new snowshoes today and went on an adventure! It was beautiful and so much fun!!

Bryndel spent most of the adventure wrapped up like a taco in down blankets in Kyle's sled. She loved it!

Hadley spent much of the adventure like this; either from taking a haphazard digger or from exhaustion :)

Piper never once complained and has already asked when we can go again!!

We got in a little sledding too.

By the end Bryndel was ready to walk too, and thought Hadley had made falling down look like fun. What a great day!

A HAPPY New Year!

We were blessed with thee happiest kind of New Year... with a sweet new baby cousin!!  Nathan & Heidi welcomed the first baby of the New Year early Thursday morning.  Beautiful, healthy, and loved by God.... introducing Nolan Madson Graham.  And we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a little trip to see him :)

Look at those proud grandparents!  They now have the 'perfect' 10!

Bryndel was really really interested in Nolan, asking multiple times to 'holdie him' or just plain hug him :)


















Heidi was a whole new kind of trooper - she & Nathan were interviewed about having the first baby of the new year just 6 hours after Nolan was born!!  And not only were all 3 adorable on camera, they were gracious as well.

What a special & blessed way to spend our new year.  I think both of Nolan's big siblings, Kenzie & Cy, felt the same way.  God was so cool when he invented siblings.
