Catching Up

VALENTINE'S DAY (aka the SNOW DAY)~

For whatever reason, Hadley insisted on the snowman having legs.  Her dad happily obliged, used his machete (no kidding!), and turned it into what I think looks like an Anderson snowman.  Long legs, ha!

BRYNDEL IS 6 MONTHS~

GRANDMA & GRANDPA MAKE A SURPRISE VISIT~

Hadley was shocked, to say the least, and SO pleased when the Kindergarten's weekly 'Mystery Reader' was none other than her Grandma and Grandpa!  They were such troopers driving through the snow covered roads to get here on time.

Bryndel was not quite 4.5 months the last time we saw them, and she looooved all of their cuddles and special attention. 

Piper was sure to get in some Grandpa rough housing. Not sure who had more fun!

It  was a wonderful winter weekend for a surprise!

Computer Down

We ran into a wee bit of computer trouble this past week, and I have to admit to not being the most tech saavy indivdual around!  The photo editing program I've been using since I converted to digital (back in 2005) is no longer available.  Likely, it was no longer the best option, but ACK that means I have to learn how to use another photo program... and as demonstarted by the lack of photos, I am still wading through that mess :)  

All three girls, even Bryndel, have had minor colds but have been their usual happy selves despite the extra nose blowing & coughing. The big sisters have been enjoying the extra snow we've gotten lately, loving on the newly 6 month old Bryndel, and even getting a surprise visit from Grandma & Grandpa.  Life is good.

Wordless Wednesday

Silly Sisters

Just a typical evening before bed...in which Hadley's over-tiredness from school manifests into silliness, that thankfully rubs off on the usually crabby over-tired version of Piper.  Its like my mom always says, "It's never boring at your house," Ha!  And yes, that is underwear on the head (clean, I'm sure?) socks on their hands (again, clean?), and both pairs of Had's glasses.  I wonder just how long it will be before Bryndel is persuaded to wear weird things on her head?

Little Cousin Visit

We had a really special weekend with the Graham Family!  It was a wonderful weekend of adventures, little cousin bonding, and lots of laughter.  We are SO thankful they made the trip! 

Kenzie, newly 2 in January, & Hadley on Friday afternoon. Instant buddies.











Baby cousin buddies, now 5.5 & 4.5 months! Both are such joyful and happy babies; what a blessing!

At the hotel waterpark Saturday morning, (where the Grahams stayed) Heidi & Cylas watched Hadley & Piper excitedly get into the lazy river.













Kenzie & Hadley adored all of it and were regular little fish, but Piper was not so sure about all of the splashing!

Washed, dried, warmed, and napped up after the fun adventure they had at the waterpark.

But ready for the next adventure... sledding!

It was a wonderful weekend, and such a pleasure to have them here!  We look forward to their next visit (and hopefully our basement will be ready for guests then!).
